of as being in Beaumont Street this was situated at the junction of Beaumont Street and Kingsley Road.
The address was officially 31 & 33 Kingsley Road as that was
the landlord's entrance

magnificent old building, originally surrounded by Iron railings
which have long gone. This was also called 'The Clock' from the
instrument which hung over the door, also now gone, but still visible
in the 1986 shot below.
The pub itself has been
demolished and a new building occupies this site.
