This was on the corner with Thames Street.
Known locally as the Gladstone Vaults but not figured in Gore other than as
'The Gladstone' though it seems to have an earlier name (1881 Kelly's) as there
is a pub called - The Turtle Dove
at this junction (the Gladstone is not mentioned).
Pat McCourt thinks that this pub was demolished
around 1966-1967 when the last licensee was James Dent.
