On the corner of Leonora Street and Park Road this is the former pub, now a funeral parlour..

This was the Dingle Hotel in 1911 Gore, when Jessie Appleton was the licensee..  Before its closure it was known locally as Jessie Appletons.

Although I thought that the pub had been demolished, several visitors have told me that this is not the case, and Thomas Porter and Sons Ltd, Funeral Directors, have kindly confirmned that they now occupy the former pub premises.
