Also known as 'The Nutty' this is situated at the lower end of Beresford Road, looking down towards the river. This is at the junction with what was once called Thornton Place.

Building work continues below the pub.  To the right you can just make out Gas holders sited close to the Herculaneum Bridge pub on Wellington Road.
