The lower (downstream) part of the 'Fairy Glen' this
is in fact the old valley
of the Upper Brook which was incorporated into the design of the park.
The
waters join those of the Lower Brook at the head of the boating lake
just below this shot. If you look at the very left hand edge you can just see
the plinth of the statue of Rathbone, marked on the map.
