This is taken from the landing stage towards the
Boathouse, at the Aigburth Vale end of the lake. Half way down you can see the
'shelter' marked on the map.
The overcrowded boat recalls those halcyon days when no one had even
heard the idiot words 'health and safety' and the world was a better place
for that.
