This is an early picture postcard, which must, I think, show the Fairy Glen soon after its opening in 1873 if the size of the trees and other plantings is anything to go by. 

It shows the 'Iron Bridge', or sometimes the Cast Iron Bridge  which spans the entrance of the Upper Brook into Sefton Park.
