These house numbers are in Gores
directory for 1821
but by the time that this photograph was taken these,
some of the oldest houses on Jordan Street, were clearly in a state
of dereliction. Clearly uninhabited and uninhabitable this explains their omission
from trade directories after that time.
The pale rendered building just
visible at the left hand edge is number 25. James
McGrevy lived at number 21, in 1858, prior to his marriage.
