The junction of Jordan Street
with Newhall Street, this is one of the very few older buildings which remain.
The rest of Jordan Street is now a mixture of modern new warehouses and open
areas of demolition. Here and there a few ruins remain.
This building
is probably No12 Jordan Street but the numbering through history is not constant
and this could, just, be the remains of No14, which is perhaps the old Bridewell, if
not then that is next door and just on the left edge of the shot. The third
possibility is that the Bridwell was No 20 which is off shot, left!
