The old warehouses, close to, but
not actually on, the junction
with Newhall Street (bottom right).
These warehouses would correspond
to number 33 based on adjacent properties and old maps, if so this is the site
of the fire, which, in 1842, destroyed the premises of Platt, Son and Casson,
turpentine distillers.
