Tucked away in some allotments at
the bottom of Colebrooke Road is what looks like just a small depression. It
is in fact a small part of the valley of the Dingle Stream. Here you are
looking acroos the railway into the allotments which fills the valley of the Dingle -
easily missed unless you already know
what this depression actually is. Beyond are houses built on land reclaimed
by tipping around the Mersey Shore and Knotts
Hole which would have been in the distance at the left hand edge of this
scene.
