This shows the splendid sandstone house at the corner of Broadhurst Street and St Michaels Road.

Although clearly very distinct and different from the surrounding terraces, this stone-built house is not mentioned specifically, nor singled out with a name, in any of the trade directories examined so far.

In the distance can be seen the raised, pitched, roof of what was The Church Institute and beyond, the white edge of the now much-modified 'Hollybank', originally John Cragg's house.
