This wide path is along the general line
of the boundary within Wavertree playground. To yourleft is
Wavertree to your right is with Toxteth, the boundary follows the
line of Grant Avenue before diverting right across a path not related
to modern buildings, emerging on Smithdown Road close to the old
tram sheds.
In 1905 a 6 foot hedge apparently defined the
boundary here.
