Toxteth Boundary Marker

December 2005  This sits on Smithdown Road against the Cemetery wall and marks the point at which the Toxteth Parliamentary boundary (in fact here this is the ancient Park boundary) meets the course of the Lower Brook. The course of the Lower Brook  ran along what is now Spofforth and Webster Roads (hence their strange alignment with regard to the surrounding terraces). The Lower Brook in turn has been used to mark the boundary between Edge Hill and Wavetree.
