Warwick Street skyline - Sandside View and a story
toxteth.net > places >  warwick street skyline from sandside view

A photo taken from the top of Sandside View - a tower block on Warwick Street. It shows St Georges school, Mill Street and part of Laxey Street.

The picture was taken in the late 60's by Kevin Wilcott, who went to St George's with John Burns. Sadly Kevin was killed on his way home from a Liverpool away game, in a motorway pile up.

Strange thing about this photo - John Burns found it, on the ground in Laxey Street, he picked it up to see what it was and recognised the photo and knew who had taken it - this was after Kevin had died. It was almost lost.
