From John Burns : " I vaguely remember it open - closed late 1950s/very early 1960s. Later it was the "Talk of The Town" night club in the 1960s The manageress of the Bank House opposite, once complained about the late night noise once. They found the pub window smashed and a bullet in the hat stand. I believe they never complained again".
