This is the junction of what is in fact Upper Parliament Street, at this point at its junction with Princes Road (left) and Catharine Street (out of shot, right).. The view (behind the bus) is down Upper Parliament Street towards the river and St James's Place ( the Parliament / Upper Parliaments Street transition).

The red line indicates the boundary of Toxteth Park which the bus is about to leave!
