This dry cleaner's was at
184 Smithdown Road, (on the corner
of Gresford Avenue, just before the Ullet Road junction), was a feature
of Smithdown Road for many years. It is not in the Gore for 1911
or 1938 (when the property was a draper's shop).
The
OS map indicates that this was 134 feet above sea-level, just 0.1
feet higher than the sausage factory on the next block!
