This shot looks away from Cockburn
Street, down the now-demolished Ruby Street. Nowadays this is a grassed-over
recreation field. sloping downhill towards South Hill Road.
On
the extreme right of this picture you can just see the side wall
and gate of the Phoenix (Wilsons) public House which still stands.
