This is taken on Park Road looking towards the city centre. Heywood's Florist is on the far corner of Clevedon Street then comes G. Holmes, pawnbroker; next Moses Abrahams, draper; Booth & Co, Wine Merchants; Anna's Costumiers and finally, closest to camera, Ernest R. Hughes, Butchers, at No 289. The photograph is dated 2nd October 1952.
