Northumberland Street runs from Sefton Street (Dock Road) across Park Road and onwards.  This shows the lower portion which is not directly accessible from Park Road

This view is towards the river, downhill and shows the demolition of some of the 1960s housing on the right.  On the left some of the Victorian housing still survives. There is a lot of demolition and clearance in this area.
