A collapse of numbers 120 and 118 Lodge Lane.
The
1938 Gores shows both as being Greenlees and Sons (Easiephit
footwear Lts.), bootmakers and dealers. This directory shows 116
as Waterworth Bros. Ltd., Greengrocers as can be seen in the
photograph.
In 1911 both properties are Ben Davies
Ltd, drapers, Waterworths are at 116.
The properties are
between Tagus Street and Tiber Street. The cause of the collapse
isnot known.
