The 1960s
A view along Laxey Street into Park Road.
The buildings on the left are 50s developments which replaced the
earlier terraces shown on the 1905 map.
The building on the
end of Laxey Street,on the right,is the Sefton Arms. This is shown
as a pub in 1905.
The facing block on Park Road is between
Pickwick Street and Dombey Street (numbers 17-29). I don't know
what number the bus was.
