This street which formerly bisected the Mersey Forge now runs from Grafton Street only as far as Caryl Street. It is shown as crossing the railway line in 1905 however it no longer does that.

The properties shown here were built on part of the Mersey Forge North Yard early in the 20th Century after business ceased.

Grafton Street is behind the viewer, whilst at the bottom of Horsfall Street is Caryl Street and off that several small cul-de-sac streets also built on the site of the old yard.
