Looking from Park Road, this is the side of The Globe public house.

From Park Road on the right to the brick wall on the left is all that remains of the now-demolished Combermere Street.>

From Tony "The photos of Combermere Street, especially No.4 brought back memories of taking sacks of rags in there, to get a couple of coppers, a tanner if we were lucky, and us kids used to think we were clever hiding some bricks in the sacks, for extra weight, then legging it when they tipped the sacks out."
