Overhead Railway Bridge (2) Grafton Street

This bridge carried the overhead railway across the railway lines at the end of Grafton Street.

It was situated at the end of the Herculaneum dock, the corner of which is just visible on the right of the picture.

The entrance to the Dingle Tunnel can be seen at the end of the bridge, the casements are below, these still exist.

Shorefields sits above the tunnel entrance although at this time, the area is not fully developed.
