A photograph of terraced housing in Bowood Street. The street is near to the docks in Toxteth and is on a slight incline.

View of the even numbered houses, from 46 down, on one side of the street. The houses all have matching doors and windows. There is a small child playing in the gutter further up the street.

Bowood Street does not figure on the 1905 map as it was built after that map was completed, it was to be found below Cockburn Street, between the latter and the extension to Grafton Street
