North Hill Street - J. Bore works

This is the  yard of the works, taken from the front entrance with a number of female workers visible at the end of the passage. It  was located at 26 North Hill Street and from the 1938 Gore's directory entry  it appears to have been a horsehair processing factory.

Other related Bores seem  to have had premises, also within Toxteth, located at Lark Lane and Alexandra Drive
