 This is below the narrow section, but still looking back towards Parkhill Road. The tram tracks are further apart and two trams could pass on this section. These are the trams tracks which trapped John Joseph Christian on his bike one day in the 1930s!

Number 41, the home of John Edward Christian and his family for perhaps 30 years, is the house with a pale bay window and low wall, between the two telegraph poles.

The projecting single building behind number 41 is a sweet shop which occupied the corner site, at the junction with Jevons Street
