Arthur Street was located behind, and parallel to Beloe Street. This view is looking south easterly, towards South Hill Road.

The photograph is dated 1969 and it is thought that Arthur Street was demolished soon after this.

The Tetley's pub visible right of centre, is The Prince Arthur, at the junction of Jevons Street.
