This shows the start of the drive, just off Ullet Road at its lowest point by Princes Park. The point where Dickenson's Dingle would have crossed Ullet Road before flowing on, behind the housing, left of screen..

The tall sandstone wall on the left obscures No 1 Alexandra Drive.

Alexandra Drive dates from between 1860 and 1880. It is figured in trade directories from 1881 onwards but does not exist in any up to, and including,1860 and it is clearly not in existence on the 1850 OS map.
