This 1904 view was taken at the Dingle end of the dock from either the bridge, or the path, leading to the oil installations or the Park Hill hospital. In the middle distance (click the pic) you can see one of the
two movable cranes used for coal processing. The second is there
too if you look! At this time operations in the dock were
perhaps at the busiest in its history. The caesments on the right
