Also known as the Primitive Methodist Chapel, this
was erected in 1860, the foundation stone being laid on March 21st.
The church was to have cost £1,350. The chapel is shown on the 1905 map.
It was later used
by the Salvation Army but was apparently destroyed in the blitz of Liverpool
during WW2. Ironically the other side of Yates Street survived as
did St. Gabriel's church, not 50 yards away !
