J A Picton (Memorials of Liverpool) records that
"A Welsh Baptist Chapel was erected on the north side of Stanhope Street in 1834, taken down in 1870 for the purposes of the Railway Tunnel."

No more is yet know of this chapel however to fit the criteria above the chapel can only have been around the site of this view at the site of the old  Parliament Street Station.

More recent work with an 1850 OS map, opposite, shows the approximate location of the church, more or less opposite the Stanhope junction with Gore Street.
