This sat on Lidderdale Road close to
Smithdown Road and with the rear of the church backing on to the
Brook House Hotel car park. It thus sits right on the boundary of
Toxteth Park.
It was built as a Chapel of Ease to St. Agnes
on Ullet Road (now St Agnes and St Pancras) at the end of the 19th C as St. Agnes expanded. It was later absorbed back into the parish as
attendance declined.
In 1937 the chapel ceased to be used
as a church but became instead the school hall for
Lidderdale Infants School.
On a recent visit, Feb 2005, this
proved to have been demolished with new housing being built on the
site.
