Built in 1874 thisis a Grade II* listed building, apparently in the 'Moorish Revival, style.

The interior is spectacular with magnificent Almemar and 5-domed Ark of the Covenant in variegated marble and an outstanding painted ceiling.

This may be hard to believe from the brab exterior shown here the low light of a winter's afternoon.
