This has only recently been pointed out to me,
via Marky - a local resident remembered a mission in the area.
The only listings which I can find are for the Livingstone Mission
(also called Livingstone Mission Hall). It is un-numbered but
Fylde Street is very short on the map. Gore consistently places
it on Fylde Street, before Gaskel Street looking from the Essex
Street end. Unfortunately this straddles the junction of two
of the maps used here, but examination of the map reveals no
clues as to an exact site.
1911 no
listing for Fylde Street though it does exist 1926
there is one resident, at number 1, plus the un-numbered mission
1934 there is one resident,
at number 1, plus the un-numbered mission 1936
there is one resident, at number 1, plus the un-numbered mission 1946
listed for Fylde Street but un-numbered 1955
the mission is not listed, the only listing for Fylde Street
is for Parr Brothers, Constructional engineers. 1962
Fylde Street is not listed 1966
Fylde Street is not listed
