A rare view of the Greek Orthodox Church taken in
1981. The church is hemmed in by other nearby buildings so this picture was
only possible after the demolition of the Rialto, following the toxteth riots.
The Rialto has now been rebuilt, after a fashion, and thus this superb view
is no longer visible like this.
Running left to right is Berkley Street,
in the right hand bottom corner is Hampton Street.
