1878 Alice is born at 7 Wolfe Street and William is assumed to be with the family. He would be about 2.

1881 census family are at 123 Wolfe Street. Robert aged 41, & Jane 41, Robert (1860) who would be 22, is missing. Hugh Edwards (20) is still living with his parents, John Edwards (14), Elizabeth Edwards(11), Ann Edwards(9), Ellen Edwards(7), William Edwards(5), Alice Edwards(2).

1891 no further details of William at present. It may be noted that he would be about 15 and is not with his father Robert and sister Alice 12 at 33 Eastwood Street.
