1871 A recent breakthough finds the family at 59 Gelling Street in the 1871 census all under the name of McGravey, meaning that previous searches will need to be re-done with this new spelling variant and may reveal other data.  Susan, aged 5, is with all of her known siblings (including Ellen who vanishes for the 1881 census due to marriage). With her are her parents, James and Mary, and Mary's parents, Michael  and Ellen Hayden.

1881 Susan, aged 15 is with the family still at the same address 59 Gelling Street although Michael and Ellen Hayden are no longer there, Michael having died in 1879, Ellen in 1875.

1891 Some time between 1881 and 1891 the family moved to 128 Park Road, which was to become the home of some of this branch (and relatives) for the next 50 years. In the census of 1891 Susan is aged 24 and is living with her parents and siblings at 128 Park Road.  She is a dressmaker and continued to be so, in the business which came to be run by Lilian Christian (nee Williams).

1901 in the census Susan, now aged 32, a dressmaker is still at 128 Park Road with her parents James and Mary as well as sisters Mary McGrevy and Ellen Farrington (nee McGrevy).

1902 Susan appears as the informant on the death certificate of her sister Mary, from TB.  Both Mary and Susan were living at 128 Park Road.

Susan continued to live and work at 128 Park Road until 1941 - the death of Lilian Christian (nee Williams) who ran the dressmaking business. My father remembers his 'Aunt Susan' living there with them when he was small, this would be the 1930s. After Lilian's death the business was closed and the Christian family Edward Alfred, John Joseph and Vincent moved to 32 Errol Street around 1941. Susan McGrevy went to live with them.

1939-41 Samuel Williams died around this time and his widow Elizabeth Williams (nee McGrevy) moved to 43 Lambton Road to live with her daughter Mary Burke ( nee Williams - Auntie Minnie).

1942 Both Elizabeth Williams (nee McGrevy) and her sister Susan McGrevy died on the same night 9th August 1942 shortly before my father was called up in the September of 1942.  Elizabeth was aged 78 (thus born abt. 1864). E. Watkins is the informant, this is Ellen nee Williams, Elizabeth's daughter, of 33 Bryanston Road.  Susan aged 76 died later on the same night, at the same address: 43 Lambton Road. The informant is Mary Burke (nee Williams). It is thought that Susan who was actually living at 32 Errol Street (according to her death certificate), was at Lambton Road as she was ill, when Elizabeth, who lived there, died, this in turn perhaps precipitating Susan's death.
