She would be about 17. 1899 Ellen is a witness on the marriage certificate of her sister, Alice. when Alice marries Magnus Charles Stove. 1900 In
October 1900 Robert's daughter Ellen Edwards marries John Heaps,
22, Batchelor of Prescot
(b. 1878). John's occupation is Bricklayer. Ellen is aged 27, spinster
and gives 33 Eastwood Street, Edge Hill
as her address. He father, Robert's, occupation is given as Farm Labourer. (with
thanks to Frances). Witness are Sarah J. Campbell and Magnus Charles Stove -
Magnus is the husband of Alice Stove (nee Edwards). After marriage Ellen moved to Prescot and lived there until she died in 1952, she is buried in Prescot churchyard. |
