This
was apparently situated in the upper part of James Street, close
to St George's Church according to the 'Stranger in Liverpool'.
It was also used as a general market.
The
Stranger also records that on one side of James Street, old
houses had recently been taken down and 'spacious and commodious'
warehouses erected.
A second view, by W.G. Herdman
in 1843 shows this to be the case with a slightly altered view.
