Assembled for everyone to use
by volunteers
from the excellent Merseyside
and Genalogy History forum, with many thanks to Stan, Podge, Mandy, Kathy, Mike,
Minnie, Dorothy, (I hope I did not miss anyone)
Click the street
name to go to the map on which that street is
found, then you need to search.yourself!
If you cannot find the street or road please check adjacent
maps as sometimes roads span
two maps and if
the road is long the name may not be on every map. If this
is the case then the street will appear twice in the gazeteer below,
each entry for a different map.
The street
finder only covers streets marked on the 1838 Gage Map It does not index streets off the maps,
not named
or not yet constructed. Finally
- some streets subsequently changed their names. We
have all tried to be as complete as possible and I do not think that
there are many mistakes, but I cannot be 100% certain, so if
you are sure, then please let me know.
I hope
you find your ancestors' address
